Syria’s Economic Renewal Journey (SERAJ) project seeks to rebuild Syria’s economy by championing economic liberalization as a pathway to freedom and prosperity. It envisions a shift from a state-controlled system to a market-driven model, empowering individuals and businesses to thrive in an open and competitive environment. Monetary stability will protect purchasing power and lay the foundation for growth.

The project promotes:
– Liberating international trade from tariff and non-tariff barriers in Syria.
– Developing a competitive fiscal policy aligned with a free market economy.
– Enhancing ease of doing business through simple and transparent regulatory framework.
– Exit Central Planning: Dismantling Public Monopolies, Enabling Competition, and Privatizing State-Owned Factories.
– Tackling public sector over-employment and promoting private sector-led job creation.
– Promoting competition and decentralization in the electricity market.
– Helping the most vulnerable populations while reducing fiscal burdens.

Together, these reforms offer a framework to guarantee individual freedom, promote prosperity, and rebuild the Syrian economy.
