LIMS President Dr. Patrick Mardini joined the Economic and Social Council series of meetings on the future of the subsidies program. The series of meeting headed by Chairman Charles Arbid  studied possible alternatives. Over 60 Lebanese experts, representatives from all political affiliations, as well as independent economists attended the opening conference.
LIMS took part of the committee in charge of drafting the consensual paper that would be issued by the socio economic council alongside other experts and representatives of political parties
The meetings took place via ZOOM on: February 23, March 2, March 9, March 18, March 23, March 25, March 29, April 5, April 9, and April 12 of the year 2021.
