Mr. Richard Deeb is a managing partner at D&C Legal Services, a leading law firm in the Middle East and North Africa. He specializes in business law, corporate law, joint venture acquisitions, real estate, and intellectual property and trademark law.

Richard works extensively across the Middle East, handling complex commercial disputes within various civil and common law systems. He advises clients across multiple industries on compliance, policies, and programs related to their commercial operations. His practice primarily focuses on joint ventures, commercial law, due diligence, corporate finance, and intellectual property. Richard regularly provides guidance on litigious risks and avoidance strategies.

Throughout his career, Richard has represented clients in numerous complex commercial disputes and arbitration cases, advising on cross-border transactions exceeding $3.9 billion. He also has substantial experience in the enforcement of both foreign and domestic awards.

Mr. Deeb has received multiple awards, including the Jurislex Best Award and the Corporate INTL Award, recognizing him as one of the leading corporate and commercial lawyers. He has also been recognized by the Jurislex Global Network as a Key Individual and as the Best Practice Lawyer for hospitality and commercial law.

Dr. Mazen Derawan is an accomplished entrepreneur and business leader with over 35 years of experience across diverse industries. He is the co-founder and Chairman of Amana Foods, one of the largest meat-processing companies in the Middle East, with operations spanning Europe, Turkey, and the UAE. Additionally, Dr. Derawan successfully founded and led Buckingham Builders Corp., a residential construction company in Chicago, where he served as President for over a decade.

Dr. Derawan holds a Doctor of Business Administration in Marketing from the European University in Switzerland and a Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University. His academic journey has been marked by numerous honors, including his induction into the Chicago Area Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame in 2005 and membership in the prestigious Alpha Mu Alpha, the American Marketing Association’s honorary society.

He has served as President of the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago and as a Board Member of the National Association of Home Builders in Washington, D.C. Dr. Derawan is a frequent speaker at international conferences on entrepreneurship, liberty, and free markets, and he has lectured at various U.S. institutions on business and marketing. He is also committed to philanthropy, actively supporting charitable organizations and serving on the Board of Directors of HomeAid Chicago. Balancing his professional life, Dr. Derawan enjoys personal passions such as reading, calligraphy, boating, and motorcycle riding.

Soha El Achi is an Assistant Professor in Human Resources at the Arab Open University in Lebanon, with over 17 years of academic experience. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from Grenoble School of Management in France and a Master of Science in International Business from SKEMA European School of Business Management, also in France. Her research primarily focuses on human resource development, organizational behavior, labor markets, leadership, and entrepreneurship. She has published extensively in the fields of HR and entrepreneurship and serves as a peer reviewer for prestigious journals, including the International Journal of Human Resource Management, EuroMed Academy of Business Journal, and Sage Open.

Soha is a certified trainer in entrepreneurship from Leuphana University in Germany and holds multiple Training of Trainers (ToT) certifications, including one from 2015 focused on foundational soft skills and another from 2020 promoting entrepreneurial skills. Since 2012, she has been a trainer with ACT LEADERS, delivering a wide range of soft skills workshops. As the advisor to the entrepreneurship club at the Arab Open University since 2021, Soha has promoted entrepreneurial thinking among students, helping them turn ideas into viable businesses and access funding.

Mr. Charbel Gereige is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at AiiQ. He specializes in guiding organizations through their AI transformation journeys, focusing on strategic consulting, roadmap development, and value realization. With a commitment to tailored solutions, he collaborates closely with clients to deeply understand their unique needs and challenges, ensuring they successfully achieve their AI objectives.

With over two decades of experience in technological leadership, Mr. Gereige has managed teams and spearheaded innovative projects at leading financial institutions. His portfolio includes transformative initiatives such as cloud cost optimization, which has resulted in significant savings in the millions. A cornerstone of his expertise is deriving value from data in highly regulated environments, where safeguarding client information is paramount. Mr. Gereige emphasizes rigorous information security practices and regular auditing to navigate these complex terrains effectively.

As a thought leader in the intersection of technology and market dynamics, he is passionate about driving innovations such as Automated Asset Allocation and advancements in fintech. His academic background includes a Master’s degree in Computer Software Engineering from Telecom ParisTech.
